Airtrax manufactures superior Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor Woven Fabric (VCI), a solution to corrosion problems. The woven polyolefin fabric is used where extra strength and tear resistance is required in a package wrap. Made of HDPE and LDPE, this fabric/ film provides vapor corrosion protection to a wide variety of products. Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor Woven Fabric (VCI) is specially manufacturedas a packing solution for rolled, flat, coiled and tubular steel, large machinery/ equipment, parts and/or material that are expected to be transported or stored in an unprotected environment. The product is available in both opaque or transparent fabric so that the product inside may be identified and inspected without opening the package. The fabric has a rich Ink adhesive surface and can be custom printed to display company logos, warnings, and instruction.

For applications where it is not desired for the fabric to be transparent an opaque coating finish can be provided. The fabric can be heat sealed and can be delivered in roll formation, as sheets, or as tubes. It is available in widths of up to 144 inches (3600mm). Multi-Metal Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) can be used for metal parts packaged in the woven product receive continuous protection against salt environments, excessive humidity, condensation, moisture, aggressive industrial atmospheres and dissimilar metal corrosion. You get complete protection during storage as well as omestic and overseas shipments, virtually eliminating any rust claims.

This product eliminates the need for oiling or greasing prior to shipment or storage. Metals protected included: Carbon steel, stainless steels, copper, brass, aluminum, silver, galvanized steel, and silicone steel.
